SUMMARY:CNA (Certified Nursing Aide) Program | April 2025 Cohort starts
DESCRIPTION:The Certificate in Nurse Aide course is designed to provide comprehensive classroom and clinical learning experiences to prepare students with the basic skills required of nurse assistants according to the Administrative Standards of the Indiana State Department of Health. Instruction and practice of basic patient care skills required for Nursing Assistants are provided. Skills practiced include patient assistance with activities of daily living\, personal care\, transfer and positioning\, vital sign measurement\, intake and output measurement\, restorative care\, and communication. Students will practice supervised basic patient care in a clinical setting prior to completion of the program. \n​ \nPrerequisites: \n\n\nPass background screening (for state licensing) \n\n\nComplete physical examination & 2-step TB screening prior to class start. \n\n\nPass entrance exam \n\n\nOpen availability for classroom and clinical training. \n\n\n​ \nProgram Length: 6 weeks \nCost of Attendance: $900 \nEnrollment Fee: $100 non-refundable and will be applied toward the cost of attendance. \n  \nClick to Learn More & Apply
